CAST BIOGRAPHIES ~ SHADOW DANCERS
~Shadows of forgotten ancestors riding the winds of fate~

~WILD BILL
Born 1842 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, being the eldest of 4 children. Did his share of hunting, fishing and hell raising in the backwoods where some say he was high spirited, and others, that he was an outright trouble maker. Nonethless at 17, Bill was out on his own, being independently minded. Arkansas, being increasingly deprived of its state rights by people up North, found folks being forced to take drastic measures to preserve their honor against disgrace and ruin. Bill joined the Confederate Army at Little Rock Post in 1861 figuring on a quick war. Bill, not warming up to being ordered around, left the ranks to run with the Rangers resting at the Hewitt place near Grapevine and found this style fight ing more to his liking and thus earning the name Wild Bill. In 1863 he hooked up again with regular forces under the command of General Nate Forrest. Meanwhile Bill met the love of his life and married a Yankee gal, Miss Elizabeth, in 1864. Bill finishes out the war with honor and bears no shame for any services rendered to the Confederate cause. Bill with wife Elizabeth strike out for a fresh start in the West where his beloved wife becomes his 'Prairie Rose'. "The Bunch I run with here abouts are folks who will be pushed just so far and then the lead flys straight and true. If you ever pass our way stop and sit a spell. Always have a jug coolin in the well." invites Wild Bill.

~RIO
Rio Cristy, aka Crusty, Mad Dog, Tawee Saqwaa, Rio Garza, Blondie, & Deadeye. Born 1832 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Raised in Alta California near Lone Pine by Modocs and Mescalero Apaches when caretaker Uncle Harry Wilson, who leased land from Indians, took him in when parents abandoned him for unknown reasons when he was 6 years of age. Learned Indian ways, including being a Sun runner which over time and bad experiences, molded him a misfit, anti-social and basically out right dangerous with a real hatred for 'white man' authority. Married Annatonia Victoria Chamma in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and became an active member of the Chamma Clan, driving cattle from Mexico to Tucson Arizona. Spent more time in Mexico than anywhere being more akin to the Mexican lifestyle. Got Gold fever after wife was killed in land wars in New Mexico and settled into Holcomb Valley, adjacent to Big Bear Lake, California. Body count to date is 7. "Never killed a man that did'nt deserve it!" claims Rio. "I'm sure there's always a few more deserving wretches waiting out there." Rio does not need to look for trouble, it seems to find him quick enough.

~SAMUAL SALVADOREY
Samual Salvadorey~ AKA Salty Sam, Dos Equis, the Edge, Senoir Sam, Siesta Sam, and Shanghi Sam, world's oldest living Gunfighter, etc. etc. etc. Nobody knows when Sam was born, it could have been before they were keeping written records of such things~ But they say the town of Tucumcari will never be the same. In fact, the townfolk, do to Sam's shananagins, tried to give New Mexico back to Mexico if they would take Sam with it. The town offered to give him a First Class Stage Ticket free of charge good to anywhere at all but Tucumcari, but Sam, true to form, got drunk and sold the ticket to the highest bidder at the Boar's Head Saloon. Unforunately for Sam, he got so wasted that they sold him to some shanghiers looking for non-paid sailors. After many years Sam returned on a slow boat from China and ended up in San Francisco just in time for the great California Gold Rush. Unfortunately for Sam, he was mistaken for a Chinaman and ended up working for the railroad stuffing dynamite in holes dangling off cliffs from the end of a rope. When the railroad got to San Bernardino, Sam hitailed it to the town of New Dale, near 29 Palms and got gold fever big time, working the local mines there. Sam ended up in Pioneertown and with his gold profits opened up a Leather Works Shop at the edge of town. Sam sais, " Everybody and their dog thinks they are gunfighters nowadays, but you ain't nothiin if you don't have and edge! How do ya think I got to be the world's oldest living gunfighter? Cause I got the edge!"

~HENRY FENCEPOST
Henry can get you into trouble faster than waking up to a rattler in your bedroll. Oh he is not malicous or even mean. Henry spends most his time trying to get out of situations where is mouth took him when he wasn't looking. Oh, and he don't just get himself in hot water, he takes you with him, no problem whatsoever! Its like your dealing with two people, Henry and Henry's Mouth. We just hope Henry's Mouth don't get us all kilt! Henry wandered into Pioneertown and played Piano at the Jack Cass Saloon for grub money. Fortunatey for Henry, he met an Indian Maiden and fell head over heels in love, and soon enough he was married Indian style and seems happier than a pig in a wallow. Henry still plays his Saloon Piano and has become somewhat in demand at various shindigs here and about, especially over in Calico~

~YOUNG GUN CHARLIE

~MESCAL GRANDE

~TUCSON TAMMRA

~JASPER JASMINE

~ACE HANLIN
Ace Hanlin, the scourge of the Sagebrush and the terror of Tucson, and quicker than quicksilver on the draw, and trickier than a lizard on a hot tin roof. The only thing faster than Ace is his reputation for being 'bigger than life'. Here's a gunslinger who could easily pass for an Actor of the greatest of Thespian skills. Not only does Ace dress the part but every move he makes is calculated to sell you 'the goods' that this here is the real deal and you best buy into it or at least step aside. Known to ever so slightly embellish his abilities, and a bit of a braggard, you best give him the benefit of the doubt least you be faster than greased lightning on the draw. "I put an Ace into this here deck of cards everytime I kill a man." claims Ace and the deck you will notice as he flashes it before your eyes holds nothing but Aces. Beyond the bravado, Ace has a likeable quality if only for knowing where He's headed with his lingo and watching the reactions of men when faced with this unrelenting ego. The question each man must ask himself, is this a real threat or a Master Performance by a bag of hot air. It's your call!
